Here you will find a complete price list for digital and printed maps generated with the MapCreating portal, as well as information about special services. Draft maps are free of charge.
Digital maps
The price of the map file depends on the map area in cm2/ inch2, the class of geographical territory, and the scope of the licence for map print/ use. It does not depend on where you live and in what resolution and format you receive the file. The map is only in the form of a file, ready for download in high quality immediately after payment and generation. It also carries a licence specifying the selected scope of use. You can find more specific informations in FAQ and Operations.
Printed maps
The price of a paper map depends on the price of map file with minimum Advanced Licence, map area in cm2/ inch2, the form of finishing, as well as the place of printing and delivery costs, which have a big impact on the price. It does not depend on whether the map is film-coated. Printing and delivery can take a few days or several weeks. The service is available locally, where our partner printing houses operate. The file is sent to the printing house immediately after payment and generating the map.
You can order a map in both forms, i.e. a licence file and a paper version.

Parameters affecting the price of a digital map
In the three tables below, you can see the prices for examples of maps. The price, according to the size of the map, must be multiplied by the factor for the territory class and by the factor for the licence scope. These are prices for a few examples only; you can find the complete information in the pdf price list. You can see the initial quote already in step 1 of personalisation; when determining the paper size, it takes into account the size of the map and the class of the territory. All quotes do not include VAT and any possible discount. You will see the final price in step 6 of personalisation.
You can determine the size of the map in step 1 of personalisation. If the price seems too high, then reduce the geographical coverage of the region without changing the scale; or then reduce the scale to restore the old coverage. The horizontal map size is 8–254 cm/ 3.15–100″, vertical – 8–200 cm/ 3.15–78.74″. You can choose from standard and non-standard sizes – changing at increments every few or more cm; in total, there are 528 sizes to choose from.

The map shows in detail to which class the region, for which you want to generate the map, belongs. The price obtained for a specific area must be multiplied by a given coefficient. For maps covering the entire world or a continent, the value of the coefficient is 1.25. At the other end of the price range, there are ocean areas (outside the 12 nautical mile zone), small islands and selected countries, for which the coefficient is 0.1.

(a) You have the right to use the map in whole or in part by producing up to 50 copies;
(b) You are obliged not to remove the Imprint and to keep it visible in such a way that the recipient can read it;
(c) You do not have the right to publish the map on the internet.
2. This document is only a summary of the provisions of the Licence Agreement. The full wording of the rights and mutual obligations of the Parties results from the Licence Agreement and only this document is binding between the Parties.

Parameters affecting the price of a printed map
In the three tables below, you can see the prices for an example of number of copies and for several examples of paper sizes. For more than 50 pieces, we recommend offset printing on request. Remember please to add the price per file to the cost of printing and finishing; with Advanced Licence or higher.
